Pre-countdown

It was Memorial Day weekend and I was driving back from a short vacation in upper Michigan when I took the call. The caller asked if I would be interested in exhibiting at 20 North Gallery in Toledo, OH in July of 2025. It was the eloquent art director, Condessa Coninger providing some detail with the promise with much more to follow. I was pleased to receive the call and accepted with excitement. 

We've since talked again, but there is much to think about and even more to prepare for. It is July 2024 and the art fair season has just started and I have been accepted into 4 events in the northwest Ohio area along with a few juried exhibitions to keep with my artwork progression. I find that the art fair experience provides me with public feedback regarding what art is attractive to the event attendants. I appreciate the raw candor. 

I went into this season with hopes of selling a good amount of my artwork for inventory purposes. Now I have to consider what works I want to keep for next year's exhibition and what I'd like to focus more on when it comes to my different styles of making oceanic art.
