As an encaustic artist, I use beeswax, tree resin, and natural pigments to create textured seascapes that reflect the beauty and fragility of our oceans.

My work is deeply inspired by the need to protect marine environments, with a particular focus on raising awareness about plastic pollution.

Each painting layers molten beeswax, Demar tree resin with oil pigment, and other natural materials, creating luminous, multidimensional surface that captures the movement and depth of the sea.

The encaustic medium, an ancient technique, allows for sculpting and layering, symbolizing the complex layers of life beneath the ocean’s surface.

By showcasing the delicate interplay between light, water, and marine ecosystems, I aim to inspire a deeper connection to our oceans and encourage action towards reducing plastic waste for a healthier, more sustainable future.
